Beginner Group Class Registration 2026
Welcome to the fall session of Beginner Violin Group Class at the HUB!
This class is designed for children ages 5-10 and provides a fun introduction to the violin and the Suzuki approach. Students 11+ and teens, please email me about a separate class at the studio (depending on registration).
Parents play an active role in their child’s learning and are required to participate in each weekly class, helping with songs, pieces, and home practice.
No instrument is needed for the first class. I will size each student on September 19 and provide information about instrument rentals at that time. Please wait to rent an instrument until after your child has been sized.
Through posture games, songs, rhythm activities, and ear training, students will develop foundational musical skills in a fun and supportive group setting. This class is a wonderful opportunity to explore the violin, build confidence, and make musical friends before committing to a full year of private lessons.
When: 9:15am-9:45am, Saturday mornings
Where: the HUB at Cowichan Station, 2375 Koksilah Rd.

Sept. 19th -first class to meet and size instruments.

Oct. 10th (YES there is class even though it is Thanksgiving weekends)
Oct. 17th (NO LESSONS as there is an event at the HUB)
Oct. 24th
Oct. 31st – Halloween – bring your costumes!!

Nov. 28th – 9:15-10:30am -Dress Rehearsal! (Groups will rehearse together)
Dec. 5th -9:15-10:30am – mini concert for families and friends!
